About Aidan

Our dynamic as a tutor and student will maintain a high degree of respect and professionalism. I am here to help you! Therefore, we will solely remain on the topic of French and focus on energy on getting you where you need to be! I am confident in my capacity to change the way you understand and speak French.

I was raised in Colorado but spent most of my adolescent years living in France and Switzerland. I became immersed in the culture and had a love for the language.

I was given The Seal of Biliteracy by Regis Jesuit High School after excelling in AP French Language & Comp my senior year of High School.

I am a current teacher's aid at Moanalua High School for their AP/Honors French courses

I'm an Environmental Science major with a minor in French at Hawaii Pacific University.

About the lesson

These lessons are for students majoring in French in college, any AP/Honors/Regular French HS courses, as well as middle school and elementary school level students!

My method involves solidifying theory through the practice of the conversation. My approach is to push each student to his/her potential. Our first meeting will involve a periodic test of their level of French. I will then adjust our course accordingly to fit the needs of the student regardless of the area that needs support.

Any help on assignments, studying for a test/quiz, or homework will be worked into the lesson plan! I am here to meet your needs to be successful.

A typical lesson plan involves a vocabulary warm-up paired with a reading for the day. The student will be required to translate the reading as well as respond to the set of questions. Then we will transition into grammar work and finish with a 10-minute conversation in French.

My approach as a tutor is to prioritize the needs of the student. I am patient in your process and have an inspiring teaching method that is committed to the student!
