About Lucy
Hi there! I'm Lucy, a level 3 BSc geography student studying at University of Aberdeen.
As much as it's important to tell you about the geography side of me, I also think it's important to get to know your tutor away from the subject.
I am a super chatty person, always up for some fun and a good laugh! I love to travel and have been to some beautiful places, embracing myself in the outdoors.
Now onto the professional side. As mentioned, I am currently studying the subject in my 3rd year of a bachelor's degree, and have experience tutoring friends and family at differing levels. The most important part to me is that you understand the key principles, and you are hopefully enjoying it too. I am very passionate about the subject, and think it is a vital thing to understand the way our world is!

The most important part about lessons is patience. In my sessions, I break down the key principles of the topics ensuring everything is well understood. My sessions typically last an hour allowing for full engagement rather than some sessions that just feel too long! As mentioned, these break down key principles of specified topics before rounding off with an exam-level question to allow for reflection and understand growth of the topic.
I can cater to any age, specifically National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher student. At these levels, I gained high A grades so you are speaking to someone who has followed and achieved the same curriculum, as well as someone who is highly passionate about the subject.
Through the past several years, I have discussed sustainability with my local council as well as gaining the Gold Green Tourism Award for Scottish Canals, portraying my passion for the subject. I have also been tutoring many friends and family, along with recent one-to-one tutoring all with happy endings for the individuals.
