About Matthew
From 2019-2023 I taught IB Theatre and English in Singapore, and Beijing, China. I also taught English as a second language in South Korea for three years. .I have a double major in Creative Writing and Communication from The University of Washington and a Masters of Arts in Teaching.I have over 20 years experience performing standup and improv comedy as well. I am a licensed teacher in Theater Arts and English Language Arts and enjoy helping students build pathways towards creative goals.

I teach classes in acting, screenwriting, improv, stand up, novels/short stories, public speaking and more. I'll help you identify creative goals and a pathway towards achieving them.
