About Pratik

I go by Drummerwhosings. Quite self explanatory :)

Been playing the drums for more than 10 years on and off along with my academics. Initially I learnt the drums from a tutor for sometime, but I'd say I am a self taught for major part of my drumming career. Got into it fulltime since last 6 years. My musical vocabulary also includes singing and some of the hand drums (cajon, dejmbe), but I only teach The Drums, professionally, as of now.

I have taught more than 35 students (from age 6-60) all over India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

I teach from my own material which has shown great results over the years. It's created keeping in mind "music (drums)" as an art form rather than a subject. Students feel way more comfortable with this approach, they become more expressive with their vocabulary as they grow.

When I am not doing music, in my spare time I cook, sketch, play football, learn languages.

About the lesson

Since 2021, I teach only online.

I have 2 packages for online sessions :

Monthly :
1) 8 sessions a month ie. twice a week or
2) 12 sessions a month ie. thrice a week

Hourly :
1) 5 hrs or
2) 10 hrs
(Flexible days, meaning you can finish these hours in as many months as you want. Quite self paced)

Hourly rates Rs 625 per hr

Each session will be at least for an hour, depending on the exercise/song/task on that particular day.
Teachings run from Mon-Sat (2-10pm), you can select any package as per your convenience, and we can set up your sessions if the slots are available :)
