About
I am a college student at Stony Brook University studying in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. As a student, I can help kids who are having trouble understanding math concepts they are not understanding using methods they would be able to connect to. Please contact me via phone or email leaving a message if I don't pick up.
Being a tutor is really gratifying when you see the student connect with the math and be able to take it to the next level. It's also great to see someone succeed and see how happy they are when they get the grade they want.
Being a teaching assistant at Stony Brook and helping fellow classmates showed me I can help peers and students learn Math in a more understandable manor.

The first step in working with a new student would be asking what topics he/she needs help with and then making sure they know all the previous topics that build-up to the topic to make sure there is no disconnect while teaching. Finally helping them put it all together so they understand the topic.
I've worked with High school kids and college kids.
