About Guy
I grew up in a Thai household so naturally, I learned to speak, read and write Thai. However, I attended an international school my whole life and now I am currently studying at Queen Mary University of London, where both institutions are an English-speaking community. As a result, I am almost native in both languages as grew up with most of my friends speaking English as their first language but my parents only speak Thai.
I feel this could help to create an enjoyable and comfortable learning experience for you as you can feel like you are talking to someone who is from here, and I can communicate and understand your learning needs better.
In school, I wasn't always a fast learner and I had my own difficulties. I understand better than anyone that people learn differently so I can adapt how I teach to however you feel is better for you. I found ways that helped me to learn and study better so I can help you find yours too!

As is the case in many languages, the way it is spoken and understood by the locals is not always identical to the way it is officially taught. Everyday language is quite different from the language taught. This is why people may still sound unnatural or hard to understand to a local even though they have taken lessons. Therefore, it is important to not only learn the language in a textbook-only fashion but also learn the authentic Thai that people use to communicate in everyday life. I can help you navigate this tricky area in our lessons as I am a local myself who grew up there.
However, as I've also studied it at a higher level, I can also teach you the formal and proper way the language is spoken as it is very important for different purposes.
Your needs matter. Whether you want to learn the language for communicating with Thai people, professionally and in business, survival, or all of the above, I am here to help.
