About Anne

Hi I’m Anne an energetic and enthusiastic teacher. I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in Textiles and in lock down launched my Textile Design brand. University was overwhelming at times, but I know what it takes to work under pressure for a hand in and how to be prolific while in the end selective. Since Uni I have led stitch classes for various ages. I am flexible and adaptive and can work with an individual to achieve their dream of getting into a Course, Uni or graduating with a high grade they desire and deserve.

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic and inspiring Graduate in Textiles from Edinburgh College of Art. I would like to work with students either studying A levels or at University or who simply want help and inspiration with their existing love for Art or Textiles. I can also work with individuals in their current degree who need advice and inspiration to pursue elevated work and higher grades. My main techniques I specialise in are; painting, sketching, printing, drawing, sewing (embroidery or machine), pattern cutting, Photoshop/Indesign or even video programmes. I will work with each individual on what they need to improve and elevate their work looking at ways to show off design and art through video, imagery, and/or showing specific techniques within their focus, such as Lino cutting. In first session we can discuss your needs and I will make a tailored plan so that you can achieve your goals. Lets do this!
