About Jessica
I began as a preschool teacher, and eventually moved into higher elementary grade levels. I have taught all elementary subjects, but math is my passion! I obtained a master's degree in administration and became an assistant principal for several years. After that, I obtained my special education certification and went on to teach students with severe behaviors. I am now an elementary math instructional coach and I am able to help teachers and students. I have three children of my own, one of which has special needs. I am very patient and I absolutely love seeing my students thrive and feel confident!

My math lessons are filled with engaging and interesting ways to learn the content. I like to use different platforms that provide opportunities for my students to really get involved such as games, drag and drop activities, etc. It is also very important to me to listen to my students' thought processes as they work through problems so that I can identify the area(s) of confusion and work through it together.
