Hi! I'm May, a TESOL-certified English teacher from the Philippines with over six years of online teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have taught students from China and Japan, helping them improve their English skills through personalized and engaging lessons.

About the lesson

I have worked primarily with children and teenagers, helping them develop strong speaking, reading, pronunciation, and communication skills in a supportive and structured learning environment.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all lessons. Every student learns differently, so I carefully adapt each lesson to match their personality, learning pace, and goals. Rather than asking students to memorize long vocabulary lists or grammar rules, I focus on helping them understand how English is used in real conversations. My students learn to think in English instead of translating from their native language.

A typical lesson includes pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, guided reading, interactive conversation, and practical grammar. For younger learners, I combine structured activities with games and storytelling to keep lessons enjoyable while maintaining clear learning objectives.
