About Carlos

I love the game of tennis. I have played since I was 5 years old. I competed at the highest levels nationally. Injuries cut my playing career short so now I am dedicated to coaching players of all abilities to achieve their goals in the sport.

About the lesson

Accomplished tennis coach from New Zealand with 12+ years of coaching experience of all ages and levels.

I was a performance and club coach at New Zealand's largest and highest performing Academy renowned for coaching beginners all the way to national champions. I have specific expertise in being able to coach a wide range of players of all ages and abilities as well coaching large squads of the highest performing representative players in New Zealand.

I also coached internationally in Europe working with New Zealand's top junior representatives as they competed on the Tennis Europe circuit.

I have expertise in being able to adapt my coaching style to different skill levels and cultural environments.

I achieved multiple top 5 finishes in New Zealand junior national championships as well as national open level doubles success. My playing experience enhances my coaching philosophy, allowing me teach technique as well as the tactical requirements of tennis.
I am a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certified coach with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Otago.

I am offering private or group lessons to beginner to expert level players of all ages.

Typical length of lessons can range from 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
