About Lamees
I'm a 33-year-old female residing in Cape Town, South Africa. Ever since I can remember I've wanted to become a teacher but alas, life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to. I am currently working on getting my degree in Education. I hate it when someone struggles in school and no one else seems to want to help. It does affect your confidence eventually and that's a rabbit hole we don't want to go down. It has a domino effect. I, however, try my utmost best in helping each and every child/teen to get that confidence back, to get up and stand in front of the class with reading or spelling sheets that were a problem for them before.

I have approximately 8 years teaching experience (face to face) with the majority of those years focusing on reading, writing, spelling, and conversational English. I can adapt easily to any environment and I'm always up for a challenge. I am currently working on my teaching degree. I have a family of educators with majors in Mathematics, Arabic, Languages, and Life Sciences. I use the knowledge they so eagerly share with everyone to make my lessons a little more fun.
