About Davison
I am a young man aged 32, English language teacher certified with a Diploma and a TEFL certificate. I have 5 years offline and 2 years online teaching experience. I offer conversational lessons for working & business professionals that focus on practical workplace communication skills like running meetings, writing emails, giving presentations, negotiating and interview preparation.
I also help students to achieve conversational fluency through lessons tailored on speaking practice. The goal is to equip my students with speaking skills useful in different real world situations like asking for a favour, giving advice, showing interest and meeting new people, among others.
Lastly, i help students understand English Literature by initially teaching basic elements like plot, characters, themes, point of view and setting before progressing to other forms of literature. For instance, i offer poetry lessons where elements like figurative language, poetic devices, structure and perspective are fully taught.

I use different approaches to help learners grasp the important aspects of the language. I use communicative approach, grammar translation, game based learning, inquiry based learning and role play among other methods to help learners meet the objective of managing to use the English language orally and in writing.
