About Charmaine

Hello! I’m Charmaine, a TEFL-certified English teacher with over five years of teaching experience, including both ESL and volunteer work. I have worked with students of different ages and levels, helping them improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills in a clear and supportive way.

I am patient, reliable, and dedicated to my students’ progress. I prepare my lessons carefully and always make sure they are structured, engaging, and easy to understand. My goal is to help students build confidence and use English naturally in real-life situations.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my goal is simple: to help students feel comfortable using English and enjoy the learning process. I believe students learn best when they feel relaxed and supported, so I keep my lessons friendly, encouraging, and easy to follow.

My teaching style focuses on clear explanations and lots of practice. In a typical lesson, we start with a short conversation or warm-up, learn new vocabulary or a language point, and then practice it through speaking or writing activities. I guide students step by step and give gentle corrections to help them improve without feeling nervous or overwhelmed.

What makes me different is how I adjust to each student. I know that every learner is unique, so I take time to understand their level, pace, and goals. I also make sure lessons are not too complicated—I explain things in a simple way so students can really understand and use what they learn in real life.

My lessons are great for young learners, beginners, and intermediate students who want to improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills. If you are someone who feels shy, needs more guidance, or wants to build confidence in English, I will support you step by step.
