About Chinenye
Hi, I’m Chinenye! I am a final-year Geography and Environmental Science student and I hold a TEFL certificate.
Although I am new to private tutoring, I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a comfortable environment where learners can practise their English without feeling afraid of making mistakes.
I am particularly interested in helping learners practise conversational English, improve their vocabulary and become more confident using English in everyday situations. I understand that every learner has different goals and abilities, so I am happy to adapt lessons to suit each student’s level and learning needs.
As I begin my tutoring journey, I aim to provide lessons that are friendly, well prepared and supportive. I welcome learners who are looking for a patient tutor with whom they can practise and develop their English skills at a comfortable pace.

My lessons are relaxed, supportive and focused on helping learners become more comfortable using English. I hold a TEFL certificate and, although I am new to private tutoring, I am patient and willing to adapt lessons to each learner’s individual goals, interests and level.
My lessons are particularly suited to learners who would like to practise conversational English, build their vocabulary, improve their reading and become more confident communicating in everyday situations. During a typical lesson, we may have guided conversations, work through vocabulary and reading activities, and focus on areas that the learner finds challenging.
I am proficient in English and can also communicate in isiZulu. I welcome beginner and intermediate learners who would like a friendly and supportive space to practise their English.
I understand that learning a language can feel intimidating, especially when you are worried about making mistakes. My aim is to create a comfortable environment where learners can ask questions, practise without judgement and progress at a pace that works for them.
