About Amos
I am a 50-year-old matured man and my core values are empathy, service, persistence, kindness and achievement. Easygoing, good listener, eager to help, professional and available.
My teaching started with sports and physical education. Physical education is teaching but limited to gross motor skills, cognitive, fine motor skills, however, it does not consist of extensive language skills and classroom setting. I have an Advanced Certificate in Exercise Science (Human movement science) and conditioning, TEFL level 5 Diploma in teaching English as a foreign language and now completing my ECD diploma (teaching).
I have 9 years experience working at a primary school with in Teaching and Sports Coaching the 5-17 years old while in my part time I spend coaching a Wheelchair Rugby team called Vikings, it is a team for disabilities and also different populations. My upskilling, was concurrently teaching and coaching as a temp with long term contracts and covers.

I use both teacher and student-centered approach simultaneously for challenging and engaging sessions or collaborative learning depending on the individual learner's behavior. To accommodate the low self-esteem learners, I will then pair learners or group learners while I give clear instructions, check for understanding, maintaining radar by observing and ensuring that they remain within boundaries of their lesson. Open-ended questions to check for understanding and self-correction. Foundation, intermediate and senior phase. An independent and an open learner who is not afraid to ask questions and engages, however, I will be eliciting and testing to check for progress.
I teach different levels tailored for different learners per age groups.
