About Michelle

I love teaching because I get to meet people from all over the world and each leaves you with a part of themselves and their culture. It's always different and never boring. Also for what I give the students by way of language skills I get a great deal more from the experiences and views they share.

Every day, teachers enable their students to learn and grow, helping them become masterful readers, writers, problem-solvers, and critical thinkers. In addition, we empower our students to become global citizens—to take a stand and let their voices be heard.

I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today.

About the lesson

I am a native English speaking South African citizen. I have successfully completed the TEFL Qualifi Level 5 course. As a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your teaching staff.

I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English. I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively.

One of the most effective ways that I can assist ESL students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that facilitates all learning styles. I research, locate, and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students via visual, audio, and tactile methods. In addition, I integrate literature, phonic activities, and technology to ensure that each individual is able to comprehend and retain concepts and language. My goal is to foster an open, honest communicative and supportive classroom, in which each students feels, safe, secure, special, and appropriately challenged.
