About Veronique

Hello, I am Veronique, I am a teaching assistant in a large Secondary school in the North of Ireland. I have just completed the final year of a BSc Mathematics with Spanish and during this I lived in Northern Spain for a year teaching English in a Spanish primary school. I am fluent in English, Irish and Spanish and feel very passionate about the learning of languages. I am here to support you every step of the way. However, I can be flexible based on the student's needs and preferences. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I have just completed the final year of a BSc Mathematics with Spanish, and I have experience teaching English in a Spanish primary school. My academic background equips me to teach both subjects effectively, and my experience in a foreign school environment demonstrates my ability to adapt to diverse learning settings. Who Are Your Lessons For: My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-level students who are studying Spanish and Mathematics. The age group typically ranges from around 11 to 18 years old. I can adapt my teaching style to accommodate different proficiency levels, whether the student is a beginner or more advanced. Flexible Hours: I understand the importance of flexibility, and I am willing to work with the students' schedules to find suitable lesson times. Whether it's weekdays, weekends, or evenings, I'll make every effort to accommodate their availability. I aim to create a fun, supportive and engaging environment that helps students to excel in their studies and achieve their academic goals.

Perfect! Takes time to correct poor pronunciation/getting words wrong which is very helpful. The lesson structure of going over things I have done, then things I will do, is very useful at helping me get comfortable with different tenses.
