About Mae
I work with a limited number of students who want more than surface-level understanding of Psychology, those aiming for top performance in school, university, or competitive exams, and those genuinely interested in engaging with the depth of the field.
I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and secured 3rd rank in my B.A. (Hons) Psychology. I have also received postgraduate offers from institutions such as the University of Waterloo, University of Nottingham, and UBC.
My teaching is not based on merely “covering the syllabus,” but on developing a strong intellectual foundation in the subject:
* Building conceptual clarity across core areas such as cognitive psychology, psychopathology, and research methods
* Training you to write structured, high-quality answers that stand out academically
* Integrating clinical and real-world insights from my training at AIIMS, BMHRC, and UMMEED Foundation
Alongside this, I bring solid offline tutoring experience in India, having worked closely with both school and undergraduate students. This allows me to identify where students typically struggle and address those gaps effectively.
I approach Psychology as a *living discipline*—something to be understood, applied, and thought through rather than memorized. As a result, improved answer-writing and exam performance follow naturally from genuine clarity.
If you’re looking to engage with Psychology more seriously and develop both conceptual strength and academic precision, feel free to get in touch.

My lessons are built on one central idea: if you truly understand Psychology, you won’t need to rely on memorisation and your answers will naturally improve.
Each session is structured yet adaptable. I begin by understanding how you currently approach a topic, and then help you reorganise it into a clearer, more logical framework. The focus is not just on what to study, but how to think in a psychological way.
A typical lesson involves:
* Breaking down complex theories and topics into simple, connected ideas
* Linking concepts across areas (for example, connecting cognitive processes with psychopathology or social behaviour)
* Using real-life and clinical insights to make abstract ideas easier to grasp
* Gradually refining how you structure and present answers in an academically strong manner
To support this, I also provide well-prepared notes in question–answer format, along with mind maps and concise cheat sheets. These are designed to help you revise efficiently, organise your thoughts, and approach exams with clarity rather than last-minute memorisation.
For exam-focused students, answer writing is integrated into the learning process itself so you learn how to construct responses, not just reproduce them.
I adapt both pace and depth depending on your level—whether you need foundational clarity or more advanced discussion and refinement
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
I studied psychology under Mae, and it was a very positive learning experience. She explains concepts clearly and ensures they are well understood, rather than just memorized. She is approachable, patient, and always open to questions. I would highly recommend her to other students.
Mae is professional, calm and extremely helpful. She takes efforts to understand your needs and tailors her classes accordingly. She breaks down concepts which become easier to learn and remember. My grasp of subjects has become well all because of her. I am grateful to know her.
The best teacher honestly she simplifies everything even the toughest topics!
