About Jorja

I’m a second year BSc Psychology student studying at Sheffield Hallam University. I have a lot of love for psychology as a subject, and having achieved an A* at A-Level, I feel as though I have knowledge and techniques to share with individuals that are currently in the position that I was a few years ago. In my first exams in year 12 I only just scraped a D and having never struggled in school prior to this couldn’t understand how or why. I set my sights on a better grade for myself and used a variety of techniques to get there. My second challenge was debatably more difficult and was to break the routine of achieving an A in each exam and push into the bracket of an A* by honing the skills I had developed thus far. On the backend of the pandemic my class experienced it’s fair share of teacher absence’s and during those periods I loved teaching my classmates the things I learnt myself and the methods I had been using to teach myself the content in a way that had given me such a rounded understanding.

About the lesson

Sessions are for students studying AQA A-Level Psychology (typically aged 16-18).
Lessons will take 60 minutes broken down into 20 minute intervals and will include:
- Teaching content where necessary.
- Use of Active Recall Methods to provide steady and consistent recall pathways.
- Development of exam techniques to allow you to save time and effort during your exams.
