About Keifer James
- I have 9+ years of experience playing in an orchestra.
- I have 5+ years of experience playing in churches, gigs, and weddings.
- I had the opportunity to play internationally in Japan and Hong Kong together with different orchestras as part of a music festival.
I also played the piano for 12 years. Had 2 great piano teachers throughout my years. I am well acquainted with people who also teach piano/music as a living. I also took a music theory class provided by the music studio I was enrolled at under a teacher who was quite well-known around the local music scene for composing pieces for the church
Note. I may be socially awkward in-person but don't worry it doesn't affect my teaching skills

My teaching method will include not only learning to play violin/viola but also include introduction towards music theory like basic music theory & composition, sight-reading techniques, ear training & solfège, and will also include about the experiences I have learned throughout my years playing in the orchestra and being invited to play in gigs and weddings.
And after completing few lessons, I would include post-tests and a mini performance showcase with a memorized piece from the student for them to apply what they have learned.
