About Tara

Specialist Subject teacher and DET trainer dedicated professional with solid education and experience in education and training including performing arts, Dance. Drama, musical and Physical theatre, health, and fitness, as well as management and leadership skills.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is based the individual student and the objectives. Each learner has their journey and I offer the best support and encouragement as well inputting the knowledge that is needed for each student to succeed. My main objective is to build positive and professional relationships between myself, members of my team and the clients, focusing on helping individuals with learning new life skills. Through my experience as a teacher, trainer, teaching assistant and cover supervisor, I have gained skills and experience that can make me an excellent candidate for this role. This includes:
Advocacy support: Supporting, encouraging, and motivating individuals to improve academic goals with any complex needs.
Long-term achievement goals: Empowering adults and young to identify their own strengths and work towards overcoming any barriers that might arise.
A role model: I believe I can be an outstanding role model as I myself have had to work hard to achieve my own goals and overcome barriers. I aim to inspire people of all diverse backgrounds to maximise their full potential.
Catering to the individual needs of students: I work with a system of guidance that can fluctuate according to the needs of the individual, therefore improving the lives of individuals to help become a resourceful asset to society. Experienced and qualified: Through my degree and diploma to Education and training; teaching, mentoring, and coaching was a large part of the course, and I was able to complete all the necessary assessments as well a work placement experience which I can share and pass down credible information to help develop and cultivate new skills and growth.
