About Heloise
I work as a secondary teaching assistant, and I am a native French speaker (half French and half English).
I have a degree in linguistics and teaching French as a foreign language.
I love teaching, and have experience in one on one French (and English) tutoring and conversation, as well as classroom experience from my current job.

I base my teaching on my students' goals, needs and difficulties, be it focus on speaking skills, or extra work towards exams/certifications.
I build on the preexisting knowledge, while trying to strengthen confidence and practice (especially speaking practice).
I also put a strong emphasis on methodology (how to learn a language better) and building a closer, more personal relationship with the language by making the lessons more fun and talking about topics that interest the student.
