About Marcela

Colombo-American of nationality, I also have a dual master's degree from the University of Southern Illinois in teaching Spanish and English as a second language. I have worked as a tutor and teacher at several universities, community centers, and schools in the United States and other countries. My classes are open to all levels and all ages, I offer communication as a central part of my classes, and make classes interesting and connected to real-life situations.

About the lesson

I base my classes on communication. As a teacher, I am flexible and ingenious, able to adapt, sensitive to the needs of students, and willing to lead a positive pedagogy to keep students interested and motivated. I also strive to practice a differentiated pedagogy to follow a progression articulated around various activities in the service of different competencies.
