About Maria Clara

Hi! My name is Maria Clara, I'm a Psychology student, currently in my sixth semester, and passionate about understanding learning processes and human behavior. My academic and personal journey has always been guided by dedication and a constant pursuit of new knowledge, which has allowed me to develop a solid fluency in English. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I developed a special interest in neuropsychology and psychopathology, which gave me a unique foundation for understanding how our brain processes information and how we can optimize the learning of new skills. Beyond academic life, I'm an enthusiast of literary arts and strategic thinking, dedicating part of my free time to studying musical instruments, such as keyboard and guitar, and playing chess. I believe that learning a new language should be a light process integrated into our life goals. Therefore, I use my experience with study methodologies and my academic background to offer support that goes beyond simple translation, focusing on the real development of the student's confidence. My goal is to be a facilitator so that you can communicate with the world clearly and naturally.

About the lesson

My approach focuses on unlocking fluency through a methodology based on the psychology of learning, ensuring a safe and judgment-free environment. As a psychology student, I use cognitive strategies to facilitate vocabulary memorization and reduce anxiety when speaking. Classes are dynamic: we begin with dialogues on topics ranging from daily life and personal interests to academic articles. We progress by making natural corrections to grammar and pronunciation during the flow of conversation. My unique approach is understanding the emotional blocks that hinder fluency and working on them practically. This course is designed for students at basic to intermediate levels who want to gain confidence for travel, studies, or professional use, as well as health professionals seeking familiarity with technical terms.
