About Matt
I am a high school teacher in what I'd call my prime, going on 11 years now. I am committed to education as a vocation, and to ease the transition of a cross-country move, I am seeking additional work through private tutoring.
My classroom students and robotics team members would describe me as a positive leader, I think, with a reputation as a good listener and creative lesson designer.

I have an engaging and supportive style that translates well to tutoring - it might even be more powerful 1 on 1 or in a small group!
I have a chemical engineering degree and have taught all levels of math, robotics, and PLTW engineering classes. I am committed to continued learning myself; right now it's advanced manufacturing technology and CAD/CAM modeling.
I believe that confidence is key to learning technical skills and everyone has a place in a STEM career, not just those with high test scores. I promise to meet you where you're at academically, whether excelling or struggling.
