About Milan
A - Levels in Maths, Physics and Biology.
First class (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree at the Manchester Metropolitan University.
Recently completed Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Manchester where I was able to secure my first Teacher of Maths role at a secondary school in Manchester.
I have experience at teaching pupils age 11 to 18 from pre-GCSE maths to A-Level. My successful teaching style was recognised early on and led to an early job offer from my placement school. My second placement school was at Loreto Sixth Form College, where for several weeks I taught the students remotely, so I have experience with both teaching online and face-to-face.
I am able to build strong teacher-student relationships and push my pupils to achieve the best. My teaching method is based on 'Singapore Mastery' mathematics which has been widely researched to be effective at developing a child's understanding of the subject.
