About Katherine
I am a jack of all trades! I have Elementary School teaching experience - Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art and Music.
Disney Princess Elsa is my favorite! Sometimes I like to braid my blonde hair like hers. I took private vocal lessons for 10 years and have experience teaching Private Vocal lessons and putting together recitals.
I also have experience working as a tutor and I am good at helping students set goals for themselves and work on organizational skills and strategies for success in the classroom.

My priority for teaching is your child. Each student has their own learning style and I want to cater to their strengths. I enjoy getting to know my students and what motivates them. We will set goals together and find success. I know that success breeds success and it is important for students to feel good in the classroom.
I base my classes on a lesson objective. My goal is to ensure that my students develop the skills to complete what the state requires.
I approach each topic in a way that is interesting to my students. I get to know who they are and what they like and how each subject can be applied to their specific interests. I believe that understanding how things apply to real life makes the learning process more enjoyable and relatable.
