About Paul
I am an experienced tutor, developing all areas of English Language/Literature and Drama from KS3 up to GCSE and A Level (Examination boards: CCEA & AQA) I hold a First Class Honours BA degree In English/Drama, Masters degree in Creative Writing and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (teaching degree) in English.
I am currently teaching all areas of English in a post primary school, i.e. Speaking & Listening, reading and writing.
I have an interest in acting, directing, writing and reading. I have written and directed a short film that has been showcased in International Film Festivals (2015) and showcased at BAFTA screenings and television (2018). I have also written and directed a play that was produced in the Baby Grand Theatre, Belfast (2013). I have acted in internationally renowned televelsion series, 'Game of Thrones', various feature films and award winning short films.

I am an experienced English Teacher with a First Class Honours, English/Drama Degree, Masters Degree in Creative Writing (Commendation) and Post Graduate Certificate in English (teaching degree), all from Queen's University, Belfast. I currently teach English in a post-primary school. I have a great deal of one-to-one tutoring experience. I have a great rapport with my students and begin by assessing what each pupil requires and subsequently delivering a bespoke lesson plan to suit their individual needs. I am friendly, patient and determined to simplify topics with the aim that pupils will become competent, confident and independent learners. It's only when a pupil succeeds, I feel I have succeeded. I am extremely dedicated and take great pride in what I do.
