About Julie

Hello guys! My name is Julie Terres and I have been an English teacher for 14 years. I have a degree in teaching English as a foreign language at the Federal University of Goiás and I have lived in Edinburgh, UK for almost 4 years. I love traveling and learning about new cultures! I am currently preparing for a master's degree in English-Portuguese translation from the University of Glasgow.

About the lesson

Classes based on the needs of each student. It does not matter if you are a beginner (start speaking English in the first class!) or if you want to practice what you already know, I am here to help! I use the communicative approach method in which the student will speak, read, listen, write, acquire vocabulary and grammar, all in one class. For those in need of tutoring and preparation for exams, I am also available. I use my own material with exercises (no extra cost) sent at the beginning of each lesson, as well as images, videos and audios that will help you reinforce the content learnt. I am very patient and if you have difficulty or fear of studying English, do not worry, I will help you to feel comfortable in lively and positive classes!
