About M Madeleine
Hi! I'm Madeleine. I trained as an art teacher and taught Art & Design in my native Scotland for eight years, before going to teach English in Mongolia for six. The latter two of those was actually teaching English as a first language - don't ask me how that works but I did!
My energy, enthusiasm and dynamic lessons made me popular with students. My ability to speak Mongolian also earned me not a little kudos.
I actually trained in Silversmithing and Jewellery from the Glasgow School of Art and love all aspects of art and creativity. I am passionate about reading, writing, cooking, baking, walking, running, cycling and my faith.

I believe that creativity is fundamental to our existence. I love to help students unlock their potential and achieve a sense of satisfaction and self-worth through the creation of a piece of art or design.
My passion is for the latter - jewellery in particular - but, far from being limited to this, I am well-versed in a wide variety of techniques and skills. I should be delighted to tailor your experience to suit your needs, so that you have an enjoyable, productive and educational experience.
I have taught Art & Design in Scotland for many years and am familiar with the secondary curriculum. I should be pleased to help with any needs you have relating to qualifications, incuding the written paper. I would also try to cater for students preparing for exams and folio submissions in other countries, should the need arise.
