About Emily
I am a qualified Maths teacher and have worked as a deputy head of Maths. I am currently studying for a doctorate, having completed a Masters in Educational Leadership. I have tutored five students from age 11 to 25; those who were studying towards their GCSEs achieved grade 5 or higher (highest grade 9) and all increased their expected grade.

I have taught students aged 11 to 18, as well as some adult learners. As a teacher, I follow the curriculum for the new (9-1) GCSEs and can teach the Edexcel, AQA and OCR specifications. I am happy to work with the individual student to work out a personalised way of tutoring - no-one learns in exactly the same way and therefore, I prefer to discuss with the pupil how they believe they will get the most out of tutoring first. It's important that we work out your goals first!
