About Amanda

I currently study the bachelor of Science at The University Of Melbourne. When tutoring, I have excellent communication skills, helping me deliver my points across but of course also balancing the conversation by checking up and asking them questions to make sure they are understanding. Each student will have their own learning style and pace so I am able to adapt to their needs. Growing up in an academically oriented household, I understand the struggles and pressures a student can endure throughout their learning journey. My goal is to help you achieve whether it's catching up with school, improving your understanding in a certain area or just getting ahead of your class content

About the lesson

Anyone who is from year 7-12 can be taught by me. I have been tutoring English, Math and Chemistry for 9 months and graduated Westbourne Grammar School completing VCE methods, English, Chemistry and Chinese second language. I am patient and supportive, and I have a talent for breaking down complex concepts and simplifying them when explaining to someone. For pricing in person $50 2+ subjects, $55 per subject. The lessons will be tailored to your own liking and learning style. For example:
- going through practice/exam style questions
- teaching new content to get ahead of class
- homework help
before each lesson I will send you an outline of the class
you can always email or message me for questions outside of class
