About Amit
I teach English language and literature at the university undergraduate level. Most weekdays of my life, you will find me in the classroom either dissecting a poem to find its essential beauty, stretching the space between lines of prose to read what they are hiding, talking to the characters of a modern play to hear what they have to tell me or studying new perspectives of looking at literary criticism with some greyhaired theorist. I usually have help doing all this: my brilliant and curious students. It would be a delight to have your help, too!

In my years spent in classrooms of English, on both sides of the table, I have come to favour a storytelling method for teaching. I strongly believe that it is essential for you to enjoy your classes to be able to truly learn. A trick I use to ensure your interest in every class is to teach you all the rules, histories, and theories with stories. We will have a lot of fun together while learning loads of new things in every class.
