About Haruki

Hi! My name is Haruki, and I’m a native Japanese speaker currently living in Sydney, Australia. While I don’t have formal experience as a Japanese language teacher yet, I’ve previously worked as a tutor at a private school and as a tennis coach in Japan. These roles have helped me develop strong communication and teaching skills, and I truly enjoy helping others learn and grow. I’m passionate about sharing the Japanese language and culture with people from all backgrounds. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and flexible—I always try to adapt to each student’s goals and interests to make learning both effective and enjoyable. In my free time, I love playing tennis and spending time at the beach. I’m happy to bring a positive, relaxed vibe to lessons while making sure we stay focused on your progress. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I’d love to support you on your Japanese learning journey—either online or in person here in Sydney!

About the lesson

I offer Japanese language lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. My approach is flexible, student-centered, and designed to make learning enjoyable and effective. Depending on the student's preference, I can focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary building, reading and writing.

I use a mix of interactive materials, real-life scenarios, and cultural insights to help students develop practical language skills. Lessons often include games or role-playing activities to keep young learners engaged, while adults may prefer structured exercises and conversation practice based on real-world topics.

Whether you're learning Japanese for school, travel, work, or personal interest, I will create a supportive and customized learning environment.

Lessons are available both online and in-person, and I welcome students of all ages and skill levels.
