About Evens

My name is name Evens Auguste. Being in the environment of students is a wonderful experience. I find joy in the uniqueness of every student. It is truly a privilege to have the opportunity to influence the lives of future generations in these ways positively. I strive to maintain an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations each day. I believe that it is important to bring consistency, compassion, kindness, and a sense of humor to my classroom in order to inspire and encourage students. I also believe that learning needs to be fun; that is, I am always excited to share students’ environment.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and adaptive. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their difficulties, and actively participating in the learning process. Here are the key aspects of my teaching methodology and techniques:
1. Personalization: I understand that each student has unique learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. I tailor my teaching methods to match the individual needs of my students, ensuring they grasp the concepts effectively.
2. Active Learning: I encourage active engagement during lessons involving discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on activities. This approach fosters critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
3. Feedback and Assessment: Regular feedback is essential for improvement. I provide constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, and class participation, helping students identify areas for improvement and build upon their strengths.
4. Flexibility: I am flexible in my teaching approach and am open to adjusting my methods based on student feedback and progress. If a particular approach doesn't resonate with a student, I'm willing to explore alternative techniques.
