About Thembelihle
I am Mthokozisi Shabalala and I love teaching, or rather sharing knowledge with others and I love how it just makes connections with people. Helping a person learn or understand something that they are struggling with is the best feeling ever, especially when they start to get what you are explaining to them. I have a strong love for commerce subjects and mathematics and I am very dedicated to those subjects. I also know how challenging they can be, hence why I want to help learners learn these subjects because they can be enjoyable once you understand them.

I bring a unique combination of academic strength, lived experience, and deep passion for commerce subjects that allows me to connect with learners in meaningful and effective ways. Business Studies: I think like a business analyst, using real-world examples to explain business environments, strategies, and functions. Accounting: I don’t just know how to do reconciliations and journals—I understand their logic and can explain them step-by-step. Mathematics: I have trained myself to simplify difficult concepts and help learners gain confidence, especially those who struggle. I relate closely to the realities learners face in South African schools—from limited resources to home pressures. Because I understand their context: I teach with patience, empathy, and relevance. I use examples they understand and help them see the power of education to change their lives. I show them that even with challenges, excellence is possible.
