About Mika

Hello, I'm Mika Doctor, and I'm excited to be your tutor! With a strong background in Sports Management and a proven track record in the International Baccalaureate (IB), I am committed to providing you with top-quality tutoring services.

I am currently pursuing my degree in Sports Management at Loughborough University, a renowned institution known for its excellence in sports-related programs. This academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of sports-related subjects and the practical applications of management principles in the sports industry.

During my time as an IB student, I achieved exceptional results that reflect my dedication to academic excellence. I am proud to have earned a perfect score of 7 in IB Business Management (BM) at the Higher Level (HL), a 7 in Italian at the Higher Level (HL), and a 7 in Sports Exercise and Health Science (SEHS) at the Standard Level (SL). These achievements demonstrate my proficiency in these subjects and my ability to excel in rigorous academic programs.

I approach tutoring with the utmost professionalism and a sincere commitment to your success. My academic achievements, coupled with my experience as a tutor, underscore my ability to help you reach your learning goals effectively.

Rest assured that I prioritize clear communication, and I am attentive to spelling and grammar in all my interactions. Effective communication is essential for successful learning, and I am here to ensure a smooth and productive tutoring experience for you.

I am excited to embark on this learning journey with you, and I am confident that together, we can achieve outstanding results. Whether you are seeking assistance in language learning, IB Business Management, or Sports Exercise and Health Science, I am here to support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

I employ personalized and interactive teaching methods, emphasizing real-world applications and structured progression. My goal is to cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student, whether they are beginners in Italian, English, or Swedish, high school students studying IB Business Management, or individuals interested in Sports Exercise and Health Science.

The lesson duration varies depending on the subject and the student's age and preferences, typically ranging from 45 minutes to an hour. Longer sessions are suitable for in-depth subjects, while shorter ones cater to younger students or quick reviews.

With a background in relevant fields and three years of tutoring experience, I bring a strong foundation and expertise to my teaching. I'm well-versed in various curricula, including the IB program, and stay updated with the latest teaching techniques and trends.

My lessons are designed for a diverse audience, including beginners in languages, high school students pursuing IB Business Management, and individuals interested in Sports Exercise and Health Science.

In addition to teaching and reviewing subject matter, I actively assist students with assessments. This support includes assessment preparation, strategies, practice assessments, detailed feedback, individualized assistance, revision sessions, and post-assessment analysis. My goal is to empower students not only to understand the material but also to excel in their assessments, whether they are language proficiency tests, IB exams, or evaluations in Sports Exercise and Health Science.

By combining personalized teaching methods with comprehensive assessment support, I ensure that students not only acquire knowledge but also achieve their academic goals and perform confidently in their assessments. My holistic approach aims to maximize the potential of each student, helping them succeed in their learning journey.
