About Vivian

I have been teaching English as a second language for nearly ten years, mainly preparing students for the Cambridge ESOL and Oxford Trinity ISE / GESE exams, which test the 4 skills of reading, writing, listening and especially speaking. I have been trained in TEFL / DELTA and have a Business English education (TEFL), have had businesses in the Netherlands and Spain. In Spain I was the director of and taught at the language school 'Academia Mundo Idiomas' in Malaga, where we worked to support English language education at schools for all ages and levels, as well as entering students and adults for official exams.

About the lesson

I use different materials and make learning fun and effective and build trust in my students, and teach them the best way to improve their reading - speaking skills and broaden their vocabulary. To improve spoken English I make lesson plans based on question and answer or offer a topic to debate where I act as a mediator. I always analyze my students to find out their goals and preferred methods of learning. This is essential for being able to plan effective lessons with good results. Online support is offered between classes. My students find online lessons very effective if they can do the lessons at different locations; in the office, at home or business meetings or conferences and need extra help. The last two years I have taught online with great success. Students love it because we can collaborate on documents, share computer screens with other applications, because of the excellent online platform that I use. You have to try it, the first session is free!

Vivian is a great teacher. She helped me to improve my writing for the IELTS exam in a short period of time. I achieved the score I needed and I recommend her classes 100%. Our classes were online and it was really easy to coordinate our schedules even though we lived in different cities. I definitely would choose her again if I had to prepare another exam or work on specific skills.
