About Rekha
I’m Rekha Singla, a certified yoga instructor (RYT 500) and fitness specialist with over eight years of experience sharing the practice of yoga and movement with people from all walks of life. My journey with yoga began as a personal exploration of health and balance, and over time, it became a calling to help others find the same sense of well-being. I’ve taught in studios, community centers, senior programs, and schools, guiding everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. For me, yoga isn’t just about physical flexibility or perfect poses—it’s about creating space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. I am passionate about making yoga approachable and enjoyable, blending traditional techniques like pranayama and meditation with mindful movement to support both physical and mental health. My goal is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you feel encouraged to listen to your body, honor your limits, and celebrate your progress. Whether you’re seeking strength, stress relief, or simply a moment of calm, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey.

My online classes are designed to be accessible, engaging, and deeply nourishing, no matter your level of experience or where you’re joining from. Each session typically begins with a short check-in and grounding practice to help you arrive fully in the moment. We then move into gentle warm-ups to prepare the body safely, followed by thoughtfully sequenced asanas (postures) tailored to your needs—whether you are seeking energizing flows, restorative stretches, or targeted support for strength and balance.
I place special emphasis on breath awareness and mindfulness, integrating pranayama (breathing techniques) and short meditations throughout the class to create a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind. My teaching is adaptive: I always offer options and modifications so you can practice comfortably, whether you’re a complete beginner, managing health concerns, or looking to deepen your practice.
Classes typically conclude with a guided relaxation or meditation, allowing you to leave feeling calm, centered, and renewed. All sessions are conducted live via Zoom (or your preferred platform), and I encourage students to keep their cameras on if they feel comfortable so I can offer real-time guidance and alignment cues.
What makes my classes unique is my commitment to building a personal connection with each student. I take time to understand your goals, challenges, and preferences, and I blend traditional yoga philosophy with modern, evidence-informed approaches to well-being. My aim is to create a supportive space where you feel truly seen and empowered to grow, at your own pace, in a way that feels sustainable and enjoyable.
