About Mónica

Originally from Madrid, I've had the privilege of living in vibrant cities like London and Brussels. Prior to embarking on my academic journey, I had the enriching experience of working at the European Union Parliament in multilingual communications projects as well as tutoring. And beyond academic and professional pursuits, I am deeply passionate about literature and cinema.

About the lesson

Based on my experience as both teacher and student, I believe in learning by doing. Through a proactive approach, I try to briefly make the student understand basic concepts and then push them to apply them. I like to create a context that is based on the student's needs, level and interests, so they feel comfortable and engaged. These dynamic methods make students feel stimulated throughout the lessons and motivated to keep up. My experiences encompassess students with a wide range of needs, from children, to teenagers preparing for their exams, to adults with professional purposes or simply poeple looking for a new challenge.

Perfect! Mme Monica is an outstandingly able and capable tutor with an amiable, helpful manner - all my expectations have been succeeded. Efficient and knowledgeable with an informal friendly tough, her valuable tuition has helped me cruise through a once-feared 'pain barrier' with French Grammar and had real utility at meetings with C-suite level personalities. She cannot do enough to help, and her strong idiomatic knowledge of multiple languages helps you 'nail an expression' in a way other tutors or Google simply cannot. I am well placed to assess her premium teaching as a professional Arabic speaker working at senior level in defence diplomacy.

Nobody has kidnapped my children or held a gun to my head for me to describe her in these terms! I have no hesitation in recommending Mme Monica to anyone passionate about improving in French... as long as your study timetable doesn't clash with mine!
