Tailor made French classes by Native teacher from French Institute with 20 years experience

Elsa is a wonderful French teacher - she’s very patient and very clear, making it easier to learn and very enjoyable. I’ve been learning French with Elsa for 9 months and am working as a diplomat in France. Elsa tailors our lessons to ensure I’m learning the most useful things and to ensure the pace is correct. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Elsa is a fantastic teacher. She has been teaching me French for several years now. Her lessons are always well prepared and she makes sure that every competency is covered: reading, writing, listening and grammar. She also includes cultural elements, such as books, music, art and film into her lessons which makes them very enjoyable.

My name is Aram, I'm 15 years old, and a student at an international School. I attended a French primary school and became fluent in the language there; however, maintaining my fluency after having left became a challenge, which is why my parents looked into French tutoring. It’s now the third year that I’ve been a student of Elsa, as she’s taught me French literature, grammar, etc. With the help of both the CNED curriculum and her own lessons that she tailors specifically for me, she helps maintain my French fluency and expand my knowledge of French history and culture. The fact that I am still fluent in French is a testament to her fantastic teaching, seeing as I don’t speak any French at school or at home whatsoever. I can also confidently say that I owe my expanded knowledge of French culture and history, such as past literary movements, authors, artists, etc., to her. In addition to being a fantastic teacher in terms of the information she’s been able to teach me, Elsa is also a wonderfully kind person. She starts every lesson by asking me how my day or weekend was and encourages me to chat with her, and always maintains a positive, upbeat mood during our lessons. She also recommends books, movies and other French media that she thinks I would enjoy. Overall, Elsa has been the best French teacher I could ask for; as previously mentioned, I believe that I owe my fluency in French to her, and her informational yet relaxed method of teaching has been extremely beneficial to me. I strongly believe that any student looking to learn or improve their French, regardless of level, would also benefit from Elsa’s teaching.
