About Alicia
Upon finishing her Bachelor of Contemporary Music majoring in Vocal Studies from Southern Cross University, Alicia May went on to teach at Allen's Music and The International Music (Leichhardt) before starting her own singing studio 'Next Level Vocals.'
She also works as a session singer for International Sound House 'Squeak E Clean' (formerly Nylon Studios)
Alicia regularly collaborates with the Sydney Council and Libraries of the Inner West to provide free singing workshops to various groups including young people and transgender and non-binary singers. She also gives vocal workshops across Australia and has presented at Burning Seed, Dragon Dreaming, Esoteric and The Town.
Outside of singing, Alicia loves DJing, poetry and playing with her grey tabby cat Noodle.

Alicia keeps her lessons playful and creates a safe space for all singers to take risks, make mistakes and enjoy the wonder of singing.
Alicia's lessons are inclusive and collaborative experiences. As such, she has become a go-to teacher for queer, trans and non-binary singers looking for a safe and welcoming place to explore their voices. She is also neurodiverse friendly and is always keen to tailor her lessons to bring out the best in her students.
