About Timmy
I graduated from High School in 2018 w/ Magna Cum Laude and was in the top 1% of my school. I am currently a college student who is currently attending Lone Star College for the Surgical Tech program. I had previously attended multiple colleges such as the University of St. Thomas-Houston, University of Houston, and even UTMB Galveston for Bachelor's in Nursing. After a few years of attempting different majors, I realized that Surgical tech was the best fit for me in the end.
I believe all of the learning and teaching styles and strategies I accumulated throughout my years of college further validates that I love to teach others.
My philosophy: "If you can teach others and they get it easily, then you understand the topic yourself."

I usually tutor all levels of mathematics up to algebra 1.
My teaching approach is to connect a person's interest into the lessons themselves in order to learn effectively. I believe that if a student can connect the subject to something they are familiar with, they will understand the concept more quickly and clearly.
I have many strategies, tricks, and tips to easily memorize, understand, and differentiate certain concepts so the student will never forget them in the future, even after years of not using it!
I am a very patient and encouraging tutor, who always go out of my way to help a student understand anything they need help on, no matter how long it takes!
