About Claudia

I have 20+ years' experience in one-to-one lessons across all levels: Primary (P6/7), Secondary School, University students, adults, and professionals.
All my students improved their grasp of the language they were learning. Those who wanted to improve their grades, often improved them considerably and were all able to do well in exams.
I have taken a lot of students from 0 to proficiency or helped them attain another specific goal.

About the lesson

Professional and experienced tutor for German (native speaker) and TESOL (bilingual, TESOL certificate) provides tailor-made lessons for all levels and needs.
I hold a Magister degree (equivalent of Master's degree) in English and German literature and linguistics as well as in Educational Sciences.

I offer general language courses as well as classes in conversation, writing, presentation/interview preparation and many more. I can also help with editing and proofreading of work and school documents, university theses.
One of my specialities is exam preparation: Goethe Zertifikat and Telc at all levels, DSD, ÖSD as well as GCSE and A-Level.
My other specialities are taking students from beginners to confident speaker as well as supporting intermediate students to break into the advanced level of language for professional and general life purposes.

My methods are proven and efficient. I always adapt my way of teaching to the students' needs and preferred way of learning.

Excellent! Well we've made a start! Claudia is an excellent communicator and a very good (and patient) teacher. Although we found the course materials a little confusing at first (they're all in German) we are getting to grips with it now and, with Claudia's help, it is going well.
