About Katy
After achieving A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry (A*,A*,A respectively) and AS Levels in Further Maths and Critical Thinking (A,A), I spent a year studying PPP at Oxford University, to then go on to read Architecture at the Architectural Association in London. For many years during school and university I worked in Equine Assisted Therapy, specialising in working with horses and autistic children of all ages, I led lessons and sessions and loved being influential in the personal development and changes this aided.
I now teach Maths from any age up to A-Level, as well as offering support for entrance exams. As a tutor I always try to be engaging, creative and supportive whilst importantly being fun. I aim to provide a safe and enjoyable space out of the classroom where students can feel comfortable to readily ask questions, get things wrong (as well as right!), and most importantly enjoy our lessons.
