About Monica

I’m a proud dog mum to four year old Archie and I have recently made the move to London! I am working full-time in the people services sector within the private security industry. While my career has evolved, my roots have always been in education and learning. Tutoring allows me to stay connected to that passion - supporting students, sharing knowledge, and seeing the lightbulb moments that make it all worthwhile.

About the lesson

I take a patient, personalised approach to English tutoring - focusing on building strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills. I help students tackle everything from grammar and comprehension to essay writing and literary analysis with clarity and confidence. Lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each learner’s goals and learning style. Sessions typically last between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the student's needs and schedule. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and have over 8 years of tutoring experience. I work with learners of all levels - supporting English up to Scottish Higher and English A Level.
