About Juliet

Violin teaching has been my passion for over 7 years, and I’ve worked with students across many levels and interests. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies, serving as Violin Section Leader during my time there. My teaching philosophy blends classical precision with modern creativity. I incorporate technology such as slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video feedback into lessons. These tools make progress visible and empower students to refine their sound. Recording violin parts for original music or covers is one of the highlights of my teaching. Genres like Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk are close to my heart and feature often in lessons. Improvisation plays a major role, helping students move beyond the page. I also create custom backing tracks so practice feels exciting and immersive. Lessons are built around both technique and creativity. My aim is to show how the violin fits into today’s diverse music world. Every student has the chance to develop their own style and voice. Let’s explore the future of violin learning together and record music that feels authentic and inspiring.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching violin blends creativity, exploration, and technique. Students are encouraged to compose original pieces, arrange known melodies, and try out new sound possibilities. This opens the door to imagination and builds confidence. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s goals. Improvisation is used often to inspire quick ideas and fresh thinking. Non-traditional sounds and extended techniques are introduced to expand what the violin can do. I specialise in guiding The Adult Confidence Builder and The Content Creator, giving them tools to express themselves fully. Recording exercises provide opportunities to hear growth and refine ideas. Each lesson includes both structure and space for exploration. Students learn to merge technical skill with creative freedom. The violin becomes a medium for self-expression. My teaching makes every session inspiring and practical. Together, we’ll compose your own violin story.
