Since I am currently a chemistry student and only three years ago I did my Abitur, I know the school level and understand what it is exactly that teachers want. I can teach the students the chemical basis of all fields so that everything that follows is generally understood.

My name is Philippe Louis, I am 22 and a chemistry student at RWTH Aachen University. My tutoring is generally directed at all pupils of the classes 4-13. The lesson is intended to provide an intensive insight into the world of chemistry. The fundamentals and focus of all subjects will be discussed as well as exercises and examples. The student should be prepared for a high school diploma or a possible chemistry degree. A chemical knowledge is not required, the lesson will also be comprehensible for pupils of the lower level. Interdisciplinary topics for the lower and middle classes are, for example, the structure of the periodic table, everything related to chemical reactions, the atomic model and an introduction into organic chemistry and functional groups. For the advanced level, acid base reactions, as well as electrochemistry, reaction kinetics, mechanisms of organic reactions and stereochemistry are discussed and understood. Prerequisites for my tuition is curiosity and an interest in chemistry. My goal is to explain the material as clearly and comprehensibly as possible, so that the students have fun at the school classes, really understand the things and get good grades accordingly.
