About Joey

My name's Joey and I study physics at Warwick University. I got A*AAB in A level maths, physics, economics and further maths respectively. I have a huge passion for physics and maths and love understanding things as best as I can, which means when I have taught either peers or other tutees in the past they have always understood the topics really well, and I'd love to teach you all because I really want you all to succeed and discover how enjoyable learning these things truly can really be.

About the lesson

I fully believe that understanding concepts fundamentally in maths and physics makes them so much easier to learn, rather than just being told formulae without any explanation and being given a bunch of questions. Before the session you can send me what topic you'd like me to teach you, along with any questions you'd like to try and solve if you have any. If not, then I can find some on the topic which I think will be useful to do. In the session I will teach you the fundamental understanding behind the topics you wanted to learn so you fully grasp it and no longer feel like you don't know where this and that came from and what's going on. We will talk through any questions you have and ensure you are fully comfortable with what we have learned. Then we can together work through the questions where I'll show you the best thought processes to approaching these and how to use the knowledge we've recently learned. If you have any quick doubts or confusions I can help outside of hours too.
