About ARYA

I am a person who is passionate about dance. I learned dance for 14 years and had won prizes in school kalosav in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam and Folk dance. I love teaching dance to people. I taught dance for the age group from 5 to 38.

About the lesson

I will first teach the basics of Bharatanatyam which are tattadavu, nattadavu and visharuadavu for the beginners for 3 months. In the class, we will start with exercise followed by teaching the hastas which are single and double hand gestures. Then practice it in every class.

We used to be classmates and she teaches Indian classical dance to my niece. The classes are once every week, my niece is six years old and is really passionate on learning the dance, thanks to Arya's teaching methods. I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for a good classical dance teacher in Liverpool.
